The Goblin Barrel is a spell card available from Arena 1. At cost of 4 Elixir you get a Flying Barrel with three Goblins inside. At Level 1, the Goblin Barrel makes 50 area damage, 20 Crown Tower damage and is upgraded up to 96 area damage and 39 Crown Tower damage. The Goblin Barrel is very effective in taking down building card such as the Tombstone or the Goblin hut. A good strategy is to draw a card with high hit points, so all of the opponent’s troops will be focused on destroying that card, and then you can throw the Goblin Barrel. This strategy will work out great if the opponent does not have Arrows or Zap in his deck, although if you throw the Barrel in the far back corner, the Goblins will be out of the Arrows reach. You can also trick the enemy with the Goblin Barrel, so he must use the spell cards, and then you can draw some other group troop card such as the Minions. Clash Royale describes the Goblin Barrel as: “Spawns three Goblins anywhere on the Arena. It’s going to be a thrilling ride, boys!”
